Pompeii and Herculaneum with the children

Tour for the little explorer

Journey in history

Educational visit between games, myths and legends

Visiting Pompeii and Herculaneum means taking a journey back in history.
Both sites are two authentic cities stuck in time thanks to the eruption of Vesuvius, which in 79 AD the first covered them with ash and lapilli and the second with water and mud.
The visit will be directed to the entire family but essentially focused on stimulating the interest of the little ones.
The guide will informally and amusingly illustrate the basic aspects of daily life as it happened in a typical Roman city of 2000 years ago.
The tour will be developed interactively by providing for the use of multimedia and educational material.
Questions, riddles, treasure hunt will be proposed, preparing the use of tablets, various designs and gadgets.
Time will fly by quickly dispelling boredom and tiredness and will be fruitful because what you learn on the spot will remain fixed forever in the experience of remembrance.
We will get excited in front of the bodies of the poor victims.
We will be enchanted in front of the majestic architecture of public buildings, temples and spas.
We will be able to sing in the theaters where the ancient Romans performed and we will walk in the oldest amphitheater in Italy which was once the stage of bloody gladiatorial fights and hunts of wild beasts.
We will visit the most beautiful domus to admire their mosaics and frescoes with incredible colors.
We will stop in front of the many shops, the small shops with the marble counters and the bakeries of the past, imagining the buzz of commercial activities and the pungent smell of the prepared foods.
By stepping on the lava pavement of the ancient roads we will discover the secrets of advanced Roman engineering.
Thanks to the legends told through the myths we will learn the wise philosophy of the Fathers.
The topics covered will represent a learning moment for the children.
Learning with fun is our motto.
